In conjunction with a major Iron Ore producer TRELLEBORG has designed and manufactured a heavy duty transportable parking bay system for heavy equipment nicknamed the "Anaconda." Â
The Anaconda is extruded from a tough, wear resistant, UV protected rubber.
The Anaconda can be easily be towed to remote areas of a mine site which allows heavy mobile equipment to be safely parked when not in use.

31 May 2010Gripper Rings for Offshore Barge |
Trelleborg Engineered Systems Australia has supplied 48 Gripper Ring systems for an offshore jack-up barge. The four legs are held in place by pneumatically inflated bladders. The gripping force generated by the pneumatic bladders forcing rubber gripper rings against the 1800mm diameter pile. The clamping force between the piles and barge, allows the barges hydraulic jacking system to be re- indexed for the next lift. The barge is lifted above sea level supported by the piles to provide a stable offshore work platform not influenced by waves and tide.

Orkot® composite bearings have virtually no swell in seawater, making them ideal for marine and hydropower applications. Their superior elasticity over metal bearings means they can take edge-loading and counter misalignment even under extremely heavy loads.

The Kununara Diversion Dam, a part of the Ord River Project, was recently upgraded with special key style profile seals to ensure the water tightness of the stop logs. Trelleborg specializes in the supply and manufacture of specialty seals for Dam gates, irrigation channels and water storage applications using music note, keyhole hump, lipped and Omega seals.

Trelleborg Engineered Systems Australia has recently been listed on the Defence Recognised Supplier Scheme by the Australian Defence Organisation. The ADO is a very demanding customer that uses some of the most technologically advanced and high quality products and services currently available. Large aluminium plant in Western Australia. BHP/Bechtel has purchased 40 of our new anti-uplift structural slide bearings for various conveyor gantries and other steel infrastructure. Trelleborg are now in the process of testing the next design generation of this bearing. The new design will provide longer service life and will have a reduced plan area and thickness.

The last section of the Geelong bypass project is now being installed! Trelleborg are
presently supplying the contractor Fulton Hogan, over 150 metres of our new SSA-100 aluminium strip seal bridge expansion joint system, being for all the bridges on this project.

We have received and dispatched our first order for MUFF Mining Hose under
the Iluka contract with a second order already received. Perth now stock a complete range of MUFF hose ranging in size from 50mm -
